The Congressional Workforce Champion Award recognizes a member of the U.S. Congress that has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to advancing federal workforce development initiatives by empowering workforce development boards, job seekers, and employers.

The Congressional Workforce Champion Award nomination focuses on the nominee’s policy achievements throughout the last year that have had or will have significant positive impacts on the public workforce development system.
